The
Idea
Founded in 1998, mSec is a collection of Mac OS developers and administrators dedicated to forwarding the Macintosh Operating System as a viable and secure network server environment. We seek to improve this environment through research and development of new technologies and applications, with a strong focus on security.

The
Work
Our work includes research of existing applications as well as the development of new applications for which we see necessity or interest. We are dedicated to keeping the work we perform public, so that we may keep others within the security community well-informed. To this end, we will be maintaining an archive of source code open for public use. This is in addition to the completed applications which are freely available in the Software section.

The Members -
The group is tightly knit, but with a wide range of talents, interests, and backgrounds. As such, the group has been formed under the implicit agreement that members may participate as much or as little as they like. Please contact us if you would like more information.
